Within this conversation, was his story of how him and another brotha of ours from "The L" Chad Peppars, had randomly went down to Skid Row to give out food and hygiene products. They had filmed the experience to show the world the compassionate ideas they are trying to accomplished. He needed music for the short film.
The sonic texture I ended up creating made me feel as if I was cinematically walking through the gritty streets of Downtown LA with them in Black and White. I wanted to give a sound, a voice to a section of my hometown that does not receive the love it needs. It was a honor to score this presentation and help launch my friend's vision.
